Hon. Bobai Applauds Etsu Chikun On Leadership Prowess and Support for Governor Uba Sani's Agenda for Sustainable Peace and Security

Hon. Bobai Victor on Wednesday, applauded the Estu Chikun, His Royal Highness, Ishaku Yari, the traditional ruler of the Chikun Chiefdom in Kaduna state for his leadership roles in consolidating and supporting the administration of Governor Uba Sani's developmental agenda and peace programmes.

Bobai, who is the Director of Media and Public Affairs of the Southern Kaduna Political Forum and also a resident of Sabon Tasha ward, gave the commendation during a meeting with some selected Political stakeholders in Chikun.

He noted that royal fathers in the state have been playing unique roles in promoting peace and unity in their respective Chiefdoms , adding that they should sustain their peace effort so as to consolidate the tempo of development in the state.

The Director Media and Public Affairs, also commended the Etsu Chikun, the royal father of the entire Chikun LGA , who has been in Solidarity with both indigenous and non indigenous groups, pointing out that such solidarity was needed across the divide to keep healthy relationship.

According to him, when our royal fathers from across the divide, North, South and Central work together, then we can ensure greater peace in our state and that is the role that they have continuously played.

“I want to thank His Royal Highness for all the roles he has been playing in consolidating and supporting us in his domain and also ,I want to appeal to our brothers the Hausa Fulani and Kabilus in Chikun to please continue to give the host community, an opportunity to produce the State House of Assembly, in particular the Byelection scheduled to take place sometime this year" 

Now that Honourable Adams Ekene Abubakar was satisfied by the electoral tribunal that he won the 2023 House of Representatives election for Chikun and Kajuru Federal constituency. It's indeed wise enough for all political parties in Chikun to encourage credible candidate from the Gbagyi extraction to emerge for the Byelection .

“I want to, also, appreciate our royal father who have shown determination to work with different group of individuals under his domain to coexist peacefully, it's my pleasure to send appreciation on how his royal highness has tackle and manage different crisis within his council amicably , any time his attention is sorted"

While congratulating Hon Ekene Abubakar Adams, he encourage Rt Hon Umar Yakubu Barde, to accept all the situation in good spirit as there is time for everything under the sun.

In a similar development, Bobai, welcome President Bola Tinubu’s decision to allocate N5 billion to each of the 36 States.

“It is commendable by the administration of President Tinubu, this offer will also significantly contribute to alleviating the adverse effects of the petrol subsidy removal on the Nigerian people.

“ I am appealing to our state governor Senator Uba Sani, to ensure that the fund is properly used in Kaduna and to ameliorate the sufferings of the people who are badly affected by the policy and also calling on the governor to use traditional ruler not Politicians during the distribution" he added
