KADUNA: 2025 Budget, A Reflection Of the Administration's Unwavering Commitment To Fostering Growth and Ensuring Equitable Progress ~Munira Suleiman

In a significant moment for the governance of Kaduna State, Hon. Munira Suleiman Tanimu, Majority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, had the honor of ushering in the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, alongside esteemed colleagues and other high-ranking government officials to the hallowed chamber for the presentation of the 2025 Draft Budget. The budget is themed “Sustaining Rural Transformation and Inclusive Development,”.

According to the Majority Leader, "The 2025 budget reflects the administration's unwavering commitment to fostering growth in the rural communities and ensuring equitable progress across the state. With a total estimate of ₦790 billion, the budget is strategically designed to address the pressing needs of our populace.

Further stating; "The allocation breakdown shows a robust investment into the future of Kaduna State: ₦553 billion (70%) is dedicated to Capital Expenditure, focusing on essential development projects that will enhance infrastructure and public services. ₦237 billion (30%) is allocated for recurrent expenditure, ensuring that the operational needs of the government and essential services are met.

"This budget not only signifies the ongoing efforts to transform rural areas but also addresses key sectors vital to the well-being and prosperity of the citizens of Kaduna State. It underscores the administration's dedication to making impactful changes and promoting inclusive development that serves all citizens."

"I extend my gratitude to Governor Uba Sani, for his steadfast vision and commitment to our state’s progress. Together, we will work diligently in the Kaduna State House of Assembly to ensure this budget effectively serves the needs of the people of Kaduna State" She added;
