The 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Kaduna State, Hon. Timothy Adamu, is set to officially lead hundreds of executives and members of his former party into the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday during the Southern Kaduna APC Mega Rally in Kafanchan.

Speaking ahead of the event, Hon. Adamu said the decision to collapse the entire Action Alliance (AA) structure into the ruling APC was driven by Governor Uba Sani’s demonstrated commitment to fostering a unified and peaceful Kaduna State.

 “Governor Uba Sani has fulfilled his promises of a unified and peaceful Kaduna State. His inclusive approach to governance and dedication to equity and development across all zones have inspired us to join hands with him in advancing the state,” Adamu stated.

The rally, expected to draw thousands of APC supporters and new entrants from across Southern Kaduna, will serve as a symbolic show of strength for the party in the region.

Party sources say the event will also feature the formal reception of prominent political figures from various opposition parties who have recently declared their allegiance to the APC.

Political observers note that the defection of Hon. Adamu and his supporters further consolidates the ruling party’s growing influence in Southern Kaduna, a region traditionally known for its diverse political alignments.
