BAs discussions around the 2027 general elections in Kaduna State heat up, the spotlight increasingly shifts toward Dr. Mohammad Sani Sidi, a prominent figure who previously served as the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Despite setbacks in his previous bids for the nomination of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 and 2023 to run for governor, he came second in both occasions as announced. Many party members and political analysts are advocating for Sani Sidi to make another run, viewing him as a strong contender against the incumbent, Governor Uba Sani.
