The Kurama Concerned Citizens have accused the Gubernatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Isah Ashiru of giving huge sums of money to the President of the Kurama Federated Association, Mr. Dauda Barau and some of his Executives ahead of the Saturday Gubernatorial polls. Sun, 12 Mar 2023.  Kaduna State Chapter of the Arewa Christian Youth Forum (ACYF), have disassociated themselves from the Kaduna State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) over the faulty endorsement of the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Dogara Caesar; Mon, 27 Feb.  The Deputy Director, Committee for Legal Affairs, PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Barr. Sani Abbas has delivered his Polling Unit, Ward and Local Government to his principal Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the just concluded Presidential polls conducted. Sani Abbas who hails from Zaria Local Government Area has shown his strength by delivering his Polling Unit (Kwarbai A), and indeed Zaria LGA, an area that has never gone the way of the PDP since 1999 -this Is as well, despite the presence of the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party of Nigeria, Baba Datti-Ahmed who hails from same Local Government Area. It is in record that PDP won the Presidential Elections in Zaria by 62, 260 votes -whereas the APC managed to pull off 41, 422.

During the cause of the week, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Sen. Uba Sani enjoyed enormous endorsements from key groups in Kaduna ahead of the March 11th Gubernatorial polls.  Some of the key groups consists of members of the New Panteka Market; Kaduna Chapters of the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) as well as the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW); Almajiri/Tsangaya Coalition amongst others.  In one loud voice, the groups affirmed their support for a more 'competent' leader with all the requirements to deliver essential Governance and major growth in Kaduna State. In a bid to ensure that everyone is carried along and engaged, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Kaduna State, Distinguished Senator Uba Sani alongside his team held a very important interactive session with Reverends and Pastors of the Baptist Churches in Kaduna at the United English Baptist Church.  The purpose of the meeting was to create an avenue to promote peace and coexistence of all, even as the elections approaches closer.  The Candidate promised that he will carry everyone along irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation. Adding that he will be Governor for all citizens in Kaduna if given the mandate. 

The Kaduna Labour Party team on Monday,  led by Gubernatorial Candidate Jonathan Asake, Deputy Aliyu Zangon Aya, DG Tshairu Bako and other members paid a courtesy call to the renowned Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum and former Magajin Rafin Zazzau, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, during which the team had the opportunity to present their political manifesto to the Elder Statesman.  According to Prof. Ango Abdullahi, "I have watched you from a far and I've listened to you with keen interest. There's no doubt you are a good man, a frontrunner and eminently qualified to be Governor of Kaduna. I wish you well".
