A great soldier and general, a great leader of indefatigable spirit. The former Nigerian military president, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, popularly called IBB, is a modern-day political philosopher that have impacted generations and made history.

Thirty years after, Nigerians continue to appreciate his administration. Till today, he continues to contribute to the peace and development of the Nation. 

In eight years of the most eventful administration in the country, IBB left legacies that are difficult to ignore. His developmental strides are visible across the country. He is a gift not only to Nigeria but the world.

Remembering the good old days, he is still that good, nice and wonderful person. A leader, brother, friend and father indeed. He is an ever-standing colossus. 

It is our prayer that God strengthens him with good health and abundance of grace.

The Executive Chairman of Lere Local Government, Hon. Mathew Gambo Kaku (Sardaunan Kurama) has performed exceptionally in the last one year since he took over as Chairman of the Council.
