There is absolutely no doubt that the current executive Chairman of Lere Local Government, Mathew Gambo Kaku, has proven himself to be a worthy successor to Hon. Abubakar Buba, as he has learned extensively from Buba's competence and capacity for hardwork. This transition of power shortly after Buba was nominated to serve in Governor Uba Sani's executive council, represents a politics of continuity that is enabling Lere Local Government to reach new heights.

Gambo Kaku's ability to learn from his predecessor has allowed for a seamless transition of leadership. He has taken note of Buba's strengths and achievements, and is building upon them to further enhance the development of the people. This continuity of vision and commitment ensures that the progress made under Buba's leadership will not be lost, but rather advanced under Gambo Kaku's guidance.

Moreover, Gambo Kaku's understanding of the local government's challenges and opportunities has equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively tackle the issues at hand. The Executive Chairman of Lere Local Government, Hon. Mathew Gambo Kaku (Sardaunan Kurama) has performed exceptionally in the last one year since he took over as Chairman of the Council. He has continually shown character, competence and capacity in running the affairs of council. His efforts on education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, security and welfare for the people cannot be overstated.
