Farewell Message: "You are a True and Amazing Leader, Abubakar Ali tells Hon. Buba
Following the appointment of Hon. Abubakar Buba as Commissioner in Kaduna State, his Special Adviser on General Services, Mallam Abubakar Ali has penned down an emotional farewell note as he elevates from from the office of Chairman, Lere Local Government.
In a letter signed by Mallam Abubakar Ali as stated; "With all the titanic struggle, the journey on this hot seat, if one is conversant with the complex nature of Lere LGA's political arena and controversy of its people, it is indeed a great honor to now come to an end so peacefully and successful knowing that the days in that office cannot be easily summed up in words.
"It seems like a dream to me writing to bid you farewell as the Executive Chairman of Lere Local Government, for I am used to writing to promote your course on daily basis.
Having spent 4 years, 7 months and 18 days in office today as Chairman, the monthly target and yearly performance which you achieved here is amazing. You set the standards for the next level in Lere Local Government. Your support and encouragement during the difficult and the good times were praiseworthy. We have nothing in store, but all the good memories of you in the history of our beloved Lere LGA.
You proved beyond all reasonable doubt that being a leader can be hard, however, with patience, kindness, love and passion for serving the people is easier than it seems. We have indeed learnt a lot from you Sir. The knowledge and wisdom that you shared with us, and the mentorship you offered at ease can never be overemphasized. You have been a true and amazing leader and more so, an amiable Boss to us. Thank you so much for everything Honourable Sir.
On behalf of the youth of Lere Local Government, I would also like to thank you for helping us achieve milestone in our respective endeavours by exploring the better part of us, you're truly one of a kind and above all, a Mentor, because you have given us tons of memories to carry on and attain a better Lere.
By every measure, you are a valuable asset to the council, Kaduna State and Nigeria at large. As you leave the council to serve in a broader capacity as commissioner, it is a cruel reminder that every good thing sadly comes to an end. You might not be the Chairman of Lere anymore, but you will always remain our Mentor and Boss. You will surely be missed as an all-embracing leader.
As you embark on a new path for public service, we wish you all the luck you need to succeed in the discharge of your sworn in responsibilities and duties. May Allah reward you and forgive your shortcomings. Note that the hunter who hunted you to serve Lere LGA, managed the best hunt ever.
Finally, it is said that "If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain". We hope to remain in your cycle for learning and growing to be better.
