PDP National Youth Leader Suleiman Kadede Accused of Elitism, Disconnecting from the Youth

The PDP National Youth Leader, Muhammed Suleiman Kadede has been described as an elitist who was simply handpicked by the some elites in the party, and has moved on to disconnect from the youth.

Following a statement published on Twitter by a Media Personality by name Lion of Jada, "PDP is elitist, founded and run by the elites. That tells why they are unable to play underdog politics and thus, the reason why they fail as an opposition party.

He went further to state that, "Even their young members display arrogant elitism. During the campaign, they had the youngest youth leader (Suleiman Kadede), but when you compare his activities with the youth leaders of other parties, you'll find that he is the most elitist of them all.

"Labour Party had a decentralized system where youth members functioned effectively. The youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had his target audience and was engaging robustly at that level. On the other hand, the PDP youth leader portrayed himself as a big man whose only connection with youth seemed to be his age. He wears expensive clothes, travels in private jets and SUVs, have older people attend to him, and also patronizes big men mostly."

"The party is still stuck in 2015 as though they still control power and so are too big to remove agbada and get to work."

In reaction, a social activist named Steven Kefas stated, "He is not qualified for the position but was imposed by his foster father former Governor Ahmed Makarfi. I doubt If he had concluded his undergraduate studies at Kaduna State University.
