ELECTION FUNDS SCANDAL: Kaduna North PDP Stakeholders Have Passed a Vote of No Confidence On Ya'u Alimi, Auwal Branco
The internal crises rocking the Kaduna State Chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) seems to be far from over as dozens of party stakeholders from Kaduna North Local Government signed to pass a vote of no confidence on what they described as 'illegal and unrecognized stakeholders Chairman in person of Alhaji Ya'u Alimi, as well as the PDP Local Government Chairman Hon. Auwal Branco.
Following a letter to the State Working Committee, it stated the reasons for passing a vote of no confidence on Alhaji Ya'u Alimi Abubakar which are:
He lacks the transparency, accountability and integrity required to serve as Chairman of the Stakeholders in Kaduna North Local Government, following his past financial misappropriation with funds during the 2015 elections that landed him in the EFCC's net whereas he couldn't account for about 17 million naira.
Secondly, the just concluded elections whereas finances were not duly disbursed to party agents, Stakeholders and all that matter. This in which happend under the watch of Alhaji Ya'u Alimi Abubakar and Hon. Auwal Branco.
