El-Rufai Vs Makarfi Saga: Extracts from Records, Facts and Figure

It is no longer news that there's been a major rift between the outgoing Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai and his predecessor, former Governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi with regards 9 properties belonging to Makarfi of whose licenses and C-of-O have been revoked by Governor El-Rufai.

To put this in the right context, it must first of all be clear on why Mr. El-Rufai is making this moves at this point whereas he only has less than two week to leave office.

First and foremost, recall that few days to the March 18th Gubernatorial elections in Kaduna, the incumbent Governor came live on air to threaten Makarfi by saying he will expose all his corrupt practices while he was Governor. He also stated that Makarfi is by far the most corrupt Governor State since 1999.

Below is the link to when Governor El-Rufai threatened Makarfi prior to the gubernatorial elections and even accused him of massive corruption:

As expected, Makarfi reacted by displaying financial audits of all contracts and government spendings during his tenure.
Makarfi went further to publish the revenue profile of each administration to prove that he (Makarfi) administration got far less than what his successors got as revenue.
Fast forward eleven days to the end of Governor El-Rufai's tenure, Makarfi's properties are to be revoked of licensing and demolished because he acquired them illegally by allocating them to himself while he was Governor between 1999 and 2007 (as accused).

With all the above records, facts and figures; what is your take?
