"I Value Relationships, Friendship Over Politics", Rabiu Bako Reacts to Query After Visiting Governor-Elect Uba Sani

The crises rocking the Kaduna State Chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) took a new twist in the last 48hours as the PDP Stakeholder Chairman, Kaduna North LG, Alhaji Rabiu Bako gets queried and summoned to appear before the disciplinary committee for Anti-Party activities.

Following a letter signed by the Shaba Ward Secretary, Gambo Muhammed, dated 25 April 2023 as stated; "Sequel to the just concluded governorship general election of the March 18th 2023, allegations of Anti-Party activities were leveled against you following the congratulatory visit you went to pay to the APC governorship candidate/alleged governor-elect, Alhaji Uba Sani, evident in photos that has been making rounds in the social media."


Meanwhile, Mr. Rabiu Bako has described the allegations as laughable and unthinkable. Further stating that, "If taking a simple and harmless picture with the governor elect, Senator Uba Sani can be described as Anti-Party, then the likes of former governor Ahmed Makarfi should be given same treatment as myself. This is simply because Makarfi himself is guilty of same crime, if at all this is seen as one.


"At my age, I shouldn't be swayed around by people who do not understand the value of friendship, or rather, put politics over relationships. Our politics should be responsible and free from undemocratic traits. He added;

As of Friday, April 28 2023, Rabiu Bako, following a Rejoinder released, responded to all allegations/accusations leveled against him by the People's Democratic Party in Kaduna State.
