Assessing Uba Sani's Rural Transformation Agenda for Kaduna State..

The renowned academic scholar and political scientist, Dr. John Danfulani made the following assessments; Conscious of the realism that the majority of the people in the state dwell in rural and semi rural communities, Distinguished Sen.Uba Sani designed a revolutionary agenda of transforming the communities in the state via provision of massive and essential infrastructures comparable to those in the cities.

His first line of charge will be provision of feeder roads, linking of most areas with their LGAs, further upgrading and adequate equipping of rural healthcare centres, constructing and renovating of rural markets, provision of rural electricity, construction of additional primary schools, construction of earth dams, sinking of solar boreholes etc. 

Immediate benefit of his massive transformations will be instant arrest of problematic and less productive rural-urban migration that has a direct link with multifarious social quandaries in the urban areas. By this,there will be massive downsizing of criminalities and redundancy in the cities. In a nick of time, the cities will be less attractive because most, if not all amenities in the cities will be in their immediate communities. 

Furthermore, the massive infrastructures will increase economic activities in the rural areas through providing easy access to markets and farmlands. Similarly, there will be ease in movement of persons and goods from within and outside the rural and semi urban communities. People living in the communities will no longer pay higher cost of transportation to and from their communities. 

More to the aforesaid,rural electricity will increase profit margin of artisans like welders, saloons, batteries chargers, fresh fish merchants and other petty businesses that electricity is key to their existence. It will decrease the cost of operating such businesses and what people pay for the services offered. 

In the end,his projects will make people and the state very rich. The state will be a model and reference point of how deliberate effort by the government can tackle problems associated with poverty, urban crimes and rural-urban migration. 

I/we beseech our ever conscious and good people of Kaduna state to massively support the Kada City Boy’s 2023 mission because of the practicality, pragmatism and sincerity of his intended social contract.
