Alhaji Mohammed Rabiu Bako, an elder-statesman and senior citizen in Kaduna State, has commended the 58 lawmakers under the aegis of the Northern Senators Forum, who have rejection the proposed relocation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Aviation Ministry from the federal capital territory to Lagos State. According to Rabiu Bako, "Such a move would be contrary to the constitution of the country. This is a move that would undermine the essence of the federal capital territory, as envisioned by former heads of government, Murtala Muhammed and Ibrahim Babangida." "I urge all other lawmakers, executive cabinets, traditional rulers, clerics, as well as all well meaning Nigerians to join suit and unite in rejecting the planned relocation of these major agencies for the good of Nigeria." he added;
