Governor Uba Sani's Victory is Victory for Further Progress in Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare and More, Says Rabiu Bako

Security: Lere Local Government Political Leaders Visits Police Commissioner, Aims at Tackling Recent Attacks

Published by: dogaraCaesar  In furtherence of strengthening security in Lere LGA of Kaduna State, political leaders under the auspices of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) paid a visit to the Kaduna State Police Commissioner to discuss improvement of security in the Area.  Those part of the all important were Member KSHA representing Lere West Hon Bashir Gatari; Member KSHA representing Lere East Hon. Munira Suleiman Tanimu; Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources Hon. Abubakar Buba; Chairman Lere LGA Hon. Mathew Gambo Kaku. The meeting is triggered by the recent attacks by bandits in Lere LGA. This is believed to bring forth an end to the security challenges in the area.

Lere Council Chairman Mathew Gambo Hosts Village Heads; Calls for Deliberate Efforts to Tackle Banditry, Security Issues In the Area

In a bid to establish lasting peace and security amidst the recent issues of banditry in some communities of Lere Local Government Area; the Honourable Chairman, Mr. Mathew Gambo Kaku, on Wednesday morning received in audience the Forum of Village Heads at the Local Government Chamber, Saminaka. The issues discussed with the traditional heads centered around probing the issue of banditry and kidnappings in the area.  The Council Chairman tasked the village heads to be deliberate in matters of security, as well as provide security agencies with every helpful information. He also assured them that government will provide every necessary support to aid community coorperation.  In response, the village heads thanked the Honourable Chairman, Mathew Gambo for his efforts towards the safety and security of the communities in Lere. They offered their total support as they pray for God's strength and he continues with the good works of governance.
