Many Injured, Properties Distroyed As PDP Sends Underage Thugs to Disrupt Uba Sani's Rally In Kubau

The APC rally in Kubau LGA of Kaduna ended on a bad note as young thugs believed to be between the ages of 14 and 20 stormed the campaign ground with stones and sticks, causing chaos and destroying properties.  The young thugs are strongly believed to have been sent by the opposition PDP to disrupt the peaceful rally that was going on in Kubau on Wednesday.  As a result, countless people were said to be injured, while several billboards and other properties destroyed. In his reaction, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the APC, Sen. Uba Sani called on his supporters to maintain calmness and not take law into their hands -as their own party and candidacy signifies peace and uprightness. 

Kaduna: Labour Party Is a Christian Political Association on a 'Spoilers' Mission, -Isah Ashiru Insists

The Guberbatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Kaduna State, Hon. Isah Ashiru Kudan has stated that both the NNPP and the Labour Party are nothing but spoilers in the forth coming elections.  Speaking during an interview with Television Continental (TVC) in Abuja on Monday, when asked if the rise of the Labour Party in Kaduna State is a threat to his aspiration; Ashiru made it clear that even in his home State of Kaduna, the Labour Party is more of a Christian Political Association due to the nature of their campaign and insisted that people shouldn't take them serious.  Further stating, "We are on the matter. Even though they are speaking to Christian dominated areas, we are certain that we have the support of our Christian followers.

The Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kaduna State,  Senator Uba Sani has taken his campaign to Kagarko, Jaba and Kachia Local Government Areas.  This is said to be a historic rally as the candidate has touched down the heart and stronghold of the opposition PDP, and in fact, pulled enormous crowd which is evident of the large followership he enjoys in the areas. Women and youth were visible in great numbers to welcome the Candidate and show total support.

Kaduna: A Sea of People Convene to Welcome, Support Uba Sani as He Officially Launched Gubernatorial Campaign in Giwa

Today -thousands of supporters across Kaduna State were present in Giwa Local Government Area to witness the official launch of the Uba Sani 2023 Gubernatorial Campaign.  According to the candidate Senator Uba Sani, "We reaffirm our commitment to an inclusive, people-centred and democratic governance while sustaining the progressive legacies of the present administration."  "Our appreciation goes to the thousands of supporters who came out enmasse to support and reassure my humble self of their votes in the forthcoming general elections. We will not disappoint you." Uba Sanu added; The flag-off was graced by all key members of the APC in Kaduna State; past and present office holders. Some of whom are Alh. Hamisu Mairago, Alh. The Wife of the Gubermotorial Candidate of the Labour Party in Kaduna State, Barr. Rahila Asake has inaugurated her campaign project known as the Asake Women Support Organization (AWSO).  The inauguration took place on Saturday in Kaduna With Hon. Aisha Ja'afaru Gandu as the State Coordinator, 3 zonal coordinators and 23 Local Govt Coordinators were all inauguratedas well.  The project is said to be a force to reckon with in delivering Peter Obi and Jonathan Asake in Kaduna State.

The All Progressive Congress gubernatorial campaign in Kaduna State moved into top gear as the Southern Kaduna Senatorial District took its turn in the strategic community engagement. The Kaduna State Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party, Rt. Hon. Jonathan Asake and his Deputy Rt. Hon. Bashir Aliyu Zangon Aya were the guests of the partnership for issue based campaign -and the one on one policy dialogue.  Asake/Bashir presented their policy documents and defended it with what they intend to do and how they intend to do it if elected. The documents gives a lot of insight on the Asake/Bashir agenda and cuts across five key pillers which are the security of lives and properties; women, Youth and sports development; human capital development; inclusive economic and infrastructural development; institutional reforms and administration. Feelers from the grassroots in Southern Kaduna reveal that the masses who have always been at the receiving end on both bad and good government policies are happy and already dishing out supports to the Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate, Jonathan Asake. On the other hand, the political elites from the area seems uncomfortable and working tirelessly to dissuade the masses from supporting Asake, a fruitless effort if you ask me. In my previous article titled, 'Crucify him! Crucify him!!", I had opined that Some self acclaimed political juggernauts from Southern Kaduna with zero contribution to the region in the past had declared Asake persona non grata and were willing to go to any length to stop his gubernatorial ambition. What these politi-preneurs (political businessmen) don't know is that the power of the people is bigger than the people of power and recent events have continued to prove so.
