It is with great displeasure that I identify and commiserate with the good people of Borno State in this hard and difficult times. There is little doubt that the people have indeed faced immense challenges in recent years, from the devastating impacts of terrorism to the tragic consequences of recent flooding. The loss of life and the displacement of thousands are not just statistics; they represent families torn apart and communities devastated. In this critical moment, it's imperative for Governors and the National Assembly members across the nation to extend immediate aid in support and solidarity to Borno. Resources, both financial and material will play a significant role in alleviating the suffering of those affected. Collaborative efforts to provide immediate relief such as food, medical assistance, and shelter are crucial as well. Furthermore, a visit from the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom is currently somewhere in the United Kingdom would be a powerful gest

The Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources, Kaduna State, Hon. Abubakar Buba recieves the Medal, Award and Certificate of recognition for impact and leadership excellence by the COALITION OF AREWA MEDIA REPORTERS (CAWER) Believed to be one of the rising political stars in Kaduna State, this recognition is by no means a surprise. As Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources, Abubakar Buba has done tremendously well in bringing alive the activities of the ministry. His drive towards maintaining a clean, healthy and sustainable environment cannot be overstated. 

The Executive Chairman of Lere Local Government, Hon. Mathew Gambo Kaku (Sardaunan Kurama) has performed exceptionally in the last one year since he took over as Chairman of the Council. He has continually shown character, competence and capacity in running the affairs of council. His efforts on education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, security and welfare for the people cannot be overstated. Beyond that, his gained experience (politically) has given him the latitude to unite the local government irrespective of religion, ethnic or political affiliation.  Under his leadership, there has been a significant improvement in the EDUCATION SECTOR . Hon. Mathew Gambo has initiated and implemented various projects that have improved the quality of education in the local government. He has provided and renovated school blocks, and ensured the availability of teaching materials and resources. This has resulted in an increase in enrollment and improved academic performance.
